As a F&B Assistant you will be responsible for working in all areas of Food and Beverage as needed to deliver an excellent Guest experience.

Work Duties:

  • Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
  • Prepare set ups for tables and/or rooms
  • Follow cash handling procedures
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Up-sell with latest departmental incentives

We are looking for a strong operations-biased, manager who is looking for their next step in hospitality.  You must view hospitality as a calling, a career, NOT just another job.  Relevant experience is essential as we have to have someone that knows what they are doing.

We need someone who:
MUST be guest experience focused
Can manage the hotel 2 days a week when the GM is off.
Can help implement, manage and monitor daily staff procedures
Will build, manage and motivate a team
Understands high-quality F & B delivery
Understands events F and B
Is able to serve to a high standard
Can drive F and B business into the hotel (restaurant mainly)
Understands rota management and how to use salaried and hourly paid staff most effectively.
Can problem-solve.
Has (ideally) some formal trainer training.

We believe you will have at least 5 years of hotel experience over a number of disciplines and are stuck in your current role unable to move up. This could be your opportunity!

We have not asked for any formal qualifications but if your math’s and English are poor you will struggle in this role.

We are looking for an experienced person to work in our busy hotel. A part-time position is available for a receptionist. Flexibility is essential and we value hard work.
